On to 2009 the workshop is very busy.
First on the menu is getting ready for the 2009 International Autosport Show at the NEC, see us on stands 7234 & 7236 , we will have the Megane R26 and the C2 Rally car on show so come and have a chat.
The Pink Porsche 911 Turbo track day car with be finished by January
Three cars are being prepared for next seasons Dunlop Sport Maxx Production Cup
The Peugeot 106 with have a new rear beam following a coming together at Brands
The Renault sport Clio will be repainted EJMs race colour plus various replacement parts
And new for 2009 will be a Renaultsport Megane R26 again painted in EJM’s race colour the car will rebuilt to a high standard and be driven by Simon Guterson.
The first race will be at Rockingham on the 18th- 19th April 2009

Well done to Christina Holley for finishing 4th in sport 2000 Duratec in class A in her gunn TS7B on her first full season racing in the uk supported by EJM Preparation.
Daniel (The Boy ) Malone missed Brands Hatch due other commitment, but made up for it at Thruxton with a dream start to his racing career with a Class win in his first race and in the second race a second place a very enjoyable day for all at EJM.
His next outing at Rockingham, proved his first two races where not luck as he won his Class again after an early spin.
EJM had a three car team out at Rockingham as well as Daniel in his Peugeot 106
Jonathan Crouch raced the Renaultsport Clio for the first time getting a good result. Also out was a Fiat Punto HGT run on behalf of TRACK & RACE MAGAZINE was two drivers Keith Wood and John Hayman driving a, both enjoyed their days racing bringing the car home second in Class. (see November issue)
All three cars ran in the Dunlop Sport Maxx Production Cup series.
EJMs Citroen C2 group A Rally car showed great promise on the Woodpecker
Stages following a drive shaft problem on stage 2 the times improved as the rally progressed, the car will be out again on the Wyedean, With some new component from Tranx in the gearbox a and a raised ride height.
Miles Chamberlain’s Mk11 Cortina 1600GT made to the Icelandic Odyssy in September with Andrew Allen navigating they came in17th place overall and 2nd in their class. ( they are not responsible the crash of the Icelandic banks but could have spent more money to help them). Miles also hopes to be out on the Wyedean stages as a two car EJM team.

July has been exciting, the workshop has been busy all week with Racing and Testing keeping us busy at the weekends.
EJM has taken over the preparation and running of Christina Holley Gunn TS8 in sports 2000 series. The car has had to be fully inspected adjusted and made ready for their race at Anglesey. Christine qualified 9th but had a poor start but fought back to finish 7th.
Next came Gravel testing at Sweet Lamb EJM took 2 cars one for Rupert Hopcroft
A Nissan Micra A kit car which went well. And a Peugeot 206 for Jeremy Nash aka NASHER running on throttle bodies along with the fun big skids the car ran very well
Back in the EJM workshop Miles Chamberlains Mk11 Cortina 1600 GT has been finished into a nice Classic Rally car, now all that remains is for the to be tested which will take place on the 8th August to make sure it will survived its first event the Icelandic Odyssey in September .
The on going restoration of a VW Beetle is nearing completion

EJMs C2 Citroen Rally car has had brake and suspension adjustment which will be tested on the 8th also. We also have an entry on the woodpecker stages a round of the BTRDA at the end of august.
Another project completed in July was the VW Golf GTI MK11 which has had a complete respray , An Audi 2lt engine conversion, performance camshaft, Jetex Exhaust and Air filter, Koni suspension and a Eibach anti roll bar.
EJM have several project on the books, The PINK Porsche 911 Turbo a major rebuilt into a track car.

EJMs 106 competition car will out at the end of August at Brands Hatch for Daniel Malone. For his first race on the track any track. We all wish him the best of luck .
